There are a few things that first come to mind when I think of fall. On the top of that list are apples and pumpkins. They are essential flavors, sights, and scents of the autumn season. They make fun crafting inspiration, too. And inspired we were when we came up with our Apple and Pumpkin Fall Cork Craft!
These adorable Apple and Pumpkin Fall Cork Craft bundles are full of rustic charm. They’re really easy to make, too, and would look so cute on a mantle, shelf, or hung by their stem hoops for fall garland. Simply hot glue 5 corks together in a circular pattern. To make sure our bundles were secure, we also used a rubber band. Paint the corks, apply a loop of twine in the middle with a green paper leaf, and you have a fun apple and pumpkin fall craft!
- wood corks
- red and orange acrylic paint
- rubber bands
- rope twine
- green construction paper
- hot glue
First, hot glue together 5 wood corks in a circular pattern. When all are glued together, it should have a small opening in the center. Secure corks with a rubber band.
Once glue is set, paint for either an apple or a pumpkin. Let dry completely.
Cut a loop of rope and hot glue the ends together. The rope should snuggly fit in the center of the corks for the stem. Apply more hot glue around the sides of the rope and secure in place. Cut a leaf pattern out of the green construction paper and affix by the rope. And you have apples and pumpkins cute enough to decorate a desk!
