A, B, C and now we’re on D in our Letter Craft series! Do you know what D stands for? D is for Duck for our Letter D Craft!
Like with the rest of our letter crafts, our D is for Duck Letter D Craft needs only a few supplies and comes with free printables to make the process even easier for little hands.

There is also a Duck Printable that you will need to download and print to easily construct the yellow duckie. The rest of the supplies consist of craft foam, glue, scissors, a black marker, paper or cardstock, and googly eyes.
With a few passing clouds and waves for water, it’s a fun D is for Duck Letter D Craft pond scene! You’ll be learning all about the letter D in no time!
- Letter D and Duck Template Printables
- craft foam
- glue (can use hot glue or white school glue)
- black marker
- paper or cardstock
- googly eyes
After gathering all of the supplies, you will first download the letter D template and print onto paper or cardstock. Cut out the letter D and trace onto the craft foam. Cut the letter out.
Download and print the DUCK template. Cut out. Trace the duck template onto craft foam. Cut out. Cut a dark blue water, white fluffy clouds and a sun from craft foam.
Glue duck to the letter D. Glue dark blue water on top of the duck. Cut off any excess. Glue the sun and clouds into the sky. Glue an orange beak onto the duck.
Use a black marker to add detail. Glue on a googly eye.
