I am so ready for all things pumpkin. We actually grew our own pumpkins this year, for the first time. They didn’t get very big, but I have the ones that made it decorating our porch. Beyond decorations, though, there is of course pumpkin patches, pumpkin pies and pumpkin muffins. But most of all, there’s just the welcoming scent of a fall full of pumpkins.
Glade® contains the scents of autumn in a unique experience, letting you capture a moment you might otherwise miss with their range of new Limited Edition Fall Scents.
We picked up both Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™ while at our local Kroger in jar candle and premium room sprays.
Glade® really helped bring the season home. Pumpkin Pit Stop™ fills the air with a lovely pumpkin scent that makes you wish for pie, or muffins, while Hit the Road™ makes you feel like you’re cruising down a lane of the most amazing colorful trees and the crisp air of fall. As the fragrance filled the room, I had this overwhelming urge to go jump in a pile of leaves.
To further the experience, I wanted to bake some super Easy Chocolate and Pumpkin Muffins. These muffins are literally 2 ingredients. A boxed devil’s food cake and a can of pure pumpkin puree. Combine the two and bake into a delicious muffin that will quickly become a fall favorite.
The waiting is the hardest part. And so, while waiting, my kids and I made our own pumpkin Jack-O-Lanterns using cupcake liners. To make these Cupcake Liner Jack-O-Lantern’s, you first need to start with orange cupcake liners. Glue them to a sheet of paper and add a stem. We used brown ribbon. Then, with a black marker, start making your jack-o-lantern faces.
Before you know it, your muffins will be ready! I love fall.
