This time of year driving you a little batty? Then you’ll love our Halloween Bottle Cap Bats Magnets Craft!
I have to say, bats are some of my favorite crafts this time of year. I think I say that about everything Halloween-related, though. I just can’t help, it all turns out so cute. But we’ve done a Halloween Spoon Bats Craft in the past that’s still tops on our list. And now we’re adding a super cute way to pin Halloween artwork on the fridge with our Halloween Bottle Cap Bats Magnets!
For our Halloween Bottle Cap Bats Magnets you’ll need bottle caps, black acrylic paint if needed to paint the bottle caps, black cardstock, metal or googly eyes, magnets, a white paint marker, scissors, and glue. You’ll also need to download and print our Bat Wings Template.
- bottle caps
- black acrylic paint
- black cardstock
- Bat Wings Template
- googly eyes or metal eyes (sold at Hobby Lobby)
- white paint marker
Print the bat wings template, cut out and trace onto black cardstock.
Cut the bat wings out.
Paint the bottle caps if needed. Let dry completely. Glue a magnet on the back of the bottle cap. Glue the bat wings on the edge of each side of the magnet.
Trim off the edge of the metal eyes (skip this step if you use googly eyes). Glue the metal eyes onto the front of the bottle cap. Cut small triangles from black cardstock and glue on the back of the bottle cap. Use a white paint marker to draw on fangs.
Your magnet is ready to display your child’s favorite Halloween art on the fridge! Be sure to check out more of our fun Halloween craft and recipe ideas at Our Kid Things!
