Mornings around here are a bit crazy. The time we have before school goes by quickly. Thus, it’s important that we make the most of it. The kids know when they’re supposed to wake up. They already have their clothes laid out, teeth brushed, hair brushed, and deodorant on. I’m lucky now in that my oldest ones can get it all done independently. Somewhere in there though is breakfast, which has to be equally fast and something they can prepare themselves, especially with a new baby that needs attention. That doesn’t mean it can’t be balanced, however. Not when there’s Jimmy Dean’s new 9 oz. Breakfast Bowls.
My kids have always loved the Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Sandwiches. In fact, there’s rarely a time when there’s not a box in our freezer. Now, the Jimmy Dean’s new 9 oz. Breakfast Bowls are another favorite.
Now available in the freezer aisle at Meijer grocery stores, Jimmy Dean’s new 9 oz. Breakfast Bowls are total meal solutions with premium ingredients and sauces, and at least 21 grams of protein in every bowl. The bowls are a perfect quick option for breakfast, but they’re also great for other occasions, such as a snack or dinner.
The Jimmy Dean 9 oz. Breakfast Bowls are currently available in 3 flavors: Burrito Breakfast Bowl, Loaded Potato Breakfast Bowl, and Ranchero Steak & Eggs Bowl. We picked up one of each on our latest trip to Meijer.
My daughter and I first tried the Jimmy Dean Burrito Bowl. It surprised me just how much flavor there was. When I think of frozen foods, I tend to think of dry and bland. But not these bowls! It was honestly really good. A better breakfast is just one of the ways we’re starting our school mornings right. Here are a few other tips to make those crazy early mornings maybe a little less hectic.
Get Clothes Ready the Night Before – Make sure they’re clean, folded, and wrinkle free. Throw in the dryer before heading to bed for 10 minutes if needed. Also make sure socks and underwear are there, too. And make sure your kids know where they left their shoes.
Make Sure Homework is Done – We do our homework as soon as the kids come home from school. This goes for making sure all school papers that need my signature are done, too.
Grooming Products are in Sight – As I’ve found out, if deodorant and body sprays are not where my boys can see them, they’ll likely not get used. Keep combs, brushes, toothbrushes, and toothpaste where they can easily be reached, as well.
BackPacks are Stocked – Get backpacks ready the night before along with their clothes. Binders, pencils, papers, and all homework assignments should be where they need to be. Make sure they’re left by the front door, or where they won’t be forgotten.
Keep to a Morning Routine – We go through the same routine every morning. My kids should know what they need to do and when. They still need reminders, however.
Start with a Good Breakfast – A good breakfast doesn’t mean you need to slave over the stove. The Jimmy Dean 9 oz. Breakfast Bowls couldn’t be easier to microwave, yet are packed with flavor and protein to start your school mornings right.
